Sunday in Guangzhou
We went to the breakfast buffet and then a morning walk. We then went to the Sunday church service at Shamian Christ Church. One of the shop owners invited us to go, and they did the service in Chinese and English. The subject of the sermon today was about how you pray. The service was very similar to our services in the U.S. It was very nice to see so many people packed into a Christian church that is usually forbidden in China. There were several American families with their newly adopted children there too. We are starting to see families trickle into the area for the final leg of the adoption process before returning home. We and a few other families are in Guangzhou for our entire adoption journey as our children are from the Guangdong Province. We went to lunch at Lucy's, and then took Keaton swimming. He loves the pool and the park! We also ran into the Hyatt's (see one of the blogs I follow International Hyatts), and it so cool to meet in person a family we have followed blogging. I have also met a few families that have been on the China Adopt Talk forum. I have also enjoyed the Johnson's sending us emails daily to follow us. We traveled with them our entire trip with Keaton last year, and all had so much fun together. We have not met any of the families in our group and most likely won't until they arrive to Guangzhou next week from the children's province. More Later! I will have to add the pictures of the church and Keaton with his yogurt face in a separate post due to computer difficulties. The WiFi cuts in and out and it is taking forever to get this posted and to try to download pics.

Today
We walked around Shamian Island today and went to the shops and the park. A few shop owners remembered us, and one remembered my name before I could call hers which was Christy also. She remembered the cross necklace I was wearing and asked us to join her for church on Sunday. They have church in English and it is a few blocks away. We went to Lucy's for lunch, and then took a nap at 1230p and woke up at 615p. I guess we were all tired. We went to the French restaurant called the Orient Express for supper and the owner recognized us as well. Keaton has his usual grilled chicken and mashed potatoes with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The shop owners said there have not been hardly any Americans adopting recently. We are minority right now. I know there should be a flood of families this week as we all got TA at the same time. I told them to expect a few more families this week or next. Keaton has been very good as always. I got an email with Kanah's updated measurements, and unless his weight was calculated wrong he is down a little in weight to 18 lbs from approx. 20 lbs in March, but everything else is growing on target best I can tell. No new pictures came with the update. I guess we will see all of the real details Monday on Gotcha Day! We are having issues looking at the blog. We still email updates into it like last time, but getting to it on the internet is working well. I get to one minute , and I can not the next! Who know's what you may see so if it posts funny know we may not be able to see it.

We are off to China July 27th!!!
We are off to China Wed. July 27th! Hope everyone enjoys following along. Gotcha Day is suppose to be Monday August 1st. We cannot wait to meet Kanah and see how he and Keaton bond as new brothers! We hope to post daily updates and many pictures.

TA FOR KANAH!!!!!!!!
We got our TA today! We find out our itinerary hopefully tomorrow, or at least our departure date! Kanah here comes your forever family!

TA is coming!!??
We have been waiting on Kanah's TA (Travel Approval) for almost 7 weeks and counting! We had our agency inquire and it is in the batch sent Friday (China time) or will be in the next batch. A little sigh of relief , and hope to share our TA arrival and travel plans real soon. We can not wait to get to our little man, and Keaton is excited and kisses the computer picture of his brother every morning as his cute little face is our screen saver.
