Finally A Post!

It

It has been quite a while since I have posted on the blog. The main reason is the pictures were not uploading correctly and due to some updates made to the computer I had to learn how to navigate certain things and I kind of gave up for a while. The boys are certainly growing. They are getting ready for Santa Claus! Keaton had more surgery in November for a pharyngeal flap repair. He recovered very quickly and got to spend a week with grandma "Dee Dee". He got to visit Santa without his brother. We have go for another visit with them both this week. Java June had overgrown from the expected 12 to 15 lbs to 23 lbs !!! We love her!  Enjoy the pics. I hope to continue more frequent updates.

Keaton and Kanah enjoyed getting into their costumes and going trick or treating at our downtown stroll. They were so tuckered out by the time we got back to the car with the sacks of candy they were both asleep before we drove back down our main street (it only has 3 traffic lights) LOL!

Kanah Turns 3!

 Kanah turn 3 today! He has grown up so much this past year. He found his forever family, learned to speak English, and is now potty trained! We celebrated with his requested favorite dinner "Chicken Pot Pie", and cupcakes. We will have his Spider Man cake this weekend to celebrate with family. He and Keaton have become great brothers! ( sorry about the pics, there is something happening when I download them to the blog and they are discolored???)

Keaton Celebrated 2 year Family Day on the 13th!

Keaton celebrated his 2nd Family Day on September 13th! I am having issues with our pictures and had to down load them into our external hard drive so I can not put any old pics on here to show his Gotcha Day pic in the post until we re-lead them back onto the computer. Keaton has been a total joy to have in our family! We love him so much!

Many first's!

Keaton started Pre-school this week! Keaton & Kanah both graduated from diapers to underwear this week! Keaton went for his first salon haircut! MANY FIRSTS!
Keaton has always freaked out getting his hair cut. We think it is because they shaved his head as a baby in China. He was a very good boy for our friend to cut his hair in the salon. Both boys are so excited to wear underwear! Major changes this week!

Summer 2012 Fun! Look at me I am a big boy!

It was one year ago August 1st Kanah was placed in our arms as our second son! Wow, what a difference a year makes! He has grown and changed so much. If you have been following along you have read how malnourished he was when we met him , and was so weak he could not stand or walk for the first few days with us.  He has gained at least 10 pounds, grown from size 9 month clothes to now 18 months to 2 T, running and climbing all over, talking up a storm, and gives his brother Keaton a run for his money! He is happy, full of life and loves his forever family! Especially his MOM! LOL

Summer Fun!

It has been a while since our last post! The boys are keeping us busy! LOL A few pics of them playing with their water guns and sprinkler toy. Check out our mohawks. Kanah is grinning big wearing his Made in China T-shirt. He and Keaton are the best things we know from China, and they both love their forever family in the U.S.A.!  We have two of the greatest little boys!

Kanah's Dedication and Keaton's 3rd Birthday!

Kanah was dedicated at church Sunday and we also celebrated Keaton's 3rd Birthday! We can't believe he is 3! They had a blast with family all afternoon and we are not sure if it was the excitement, small amount sweet tea, the cake or all of the above, but they did not go to sleep until around 11oopm and Kanah was babbling until at least 1230am. They are usually in bed an asleep by 830p. They were in bed  by 830 p but with giggles city going on the rest of the night! They would not get up for school this morning! HMMMM! I can not imagine why?? Keaton said," he was not ready to get wake up"! LOL
