Visiting Santa at the Stroll!

Keaton and Kanah enjoyed the Downtown Stroll and even met Santa Claus. If any of our followers remember Keaton was scared of him last year and would not even get close. He was a little better this year and stood on his sleigh. Kanah let me hold him next to Santa, but no way would he sit with him. They did spot the candy canes and were very excited to get one! Keaton told Santa he wants a drum set and guitar! Wow Santa already knew that! LOL We may be crazy, but Santa is bring those very things to put under the tree! Loud household at 430a Christmas Day! Keaton gets up at 430 to 500a daily (even weekends!) Kanah saw his buddy Jonathan at the stroll and sat with him to watch the hand bell choir from our church perform.

Choppin' Down our Christmas Tree

We went to the Christmas Tree farm to pick out our tree, and the boys enjoyed helping Daddy chop the tree and try to push the cart back to pay for it. We got a Carolina Blue Sapphire, and they smell up the whole house for the month of December each year. We got one of the last 3 on the farm! Mamma & Peepa tagged along. We got home and started to get decorate the tree, but the boys got cranky and fighting over the Christmas decorations so they went to bed and we finished the rest! We let them hang the new decorations that Aunt Susan gave them yesterday and off to bed they went! We were told an Elf on the shelf may be heading our way! Not a minute to soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our blogger friends and followers! Kanah enjoyed his first Thanksgiving and went around to everyone that had dessert and asked for "MORE"! He got a bite of many family members dessert including his own plate full. This child can eat! Keaton and Kanah really enjoyed their day with all of the family! They got to enjoy dinner tonight with Doodle Pop. We did not take any pictures this evening. Will post some more soon.

Hugs & Java

The boys are really enjoying their new puppy Java. She is growing fast at only 9 weeks old. Puppy training is going well. Up more during the night with her then we have ever been with the boys! She and Keaton are on the same time schedule of getting up at 5 AM! That is OK during the week but REALLY? on the weekends! The boys have really bonded very well, we caught a very cute moment of them hugging each other! They do play well, and then fight over toys like all siblings do! Kanah has really come out of his little shell, and loves to copy everything Keaton does. They were the 2 silly's at church this morning during children's time at the front of the church today. Kanah mimicked every move Keaton made such as lying in the floor, peeking at the preacher behind the pulpit, standing up and sitting down while all the rest of the 20 kids up there today sat very still and listened. They did manage to act like they were praying during the prayer at the end! We were trying hard not to laugh out loud! People around us were looking at us and giggling as well.

First puppy for the boys! Welcome home JAVA JUNE!

We have had Gertie Mae almost 7 years, and since she is so set in her ways we decided to get the boys a puppy to that would play and grow with them. We welcome a precious chocolate Cockapoo named Java June. We will call her Java. Keaton calls her Babba Bune! LOL He Can't quite get the "J" sound yet. Kanah and Keaton were so excited when we got her home, and fed her food and water. We endured a grueling trip to pick her up and back home for a total of 3 hours of crying or pouty 2 year olds! They wanted to each hold her while strapped in their car seats. As you can see Keaton ended up going to sleep while petting her. He started to cry when he went to bed and did not understand why she could not sleep with him. We let her lay with him until he fell alseep. Gertie is doing very well tolerating the new addition so far. I did not expect her to do so well this quickly. Call us crazy with a puppy and 2 two year old, but it is all fun!

Keaton and Kanah enjoyed Halloween this year only for a few minutes to fill up their candy bucket! The quickly caught on to the trick or treat game and getting candy dumped into their bucket, but when we visited all of the vendors in the downtown stroll it was time to pout and go home! They got lots of treats to share with Mom and Dad! Some of you may recognize the lion costume from last year when Keaton wore it.
