We enjoyed our first Families with Children from China event. We took the boys to celebrate the Chinese New Year. They enjoyed all of the activities, the Dragon dancing (the lion dance), and all of the homemade authentic Chinese foods prepared by all of the families! The boys also enjoyed a pop up book our pastor's family dropped off for them!

Acting up in Church!

Keaton and Kanah love to play with their friend Jonathan at church. He helps with the children in the toddler room. After the church service today we were standing and talking to friends and the boys and Jonathan all got silly playing at the alter. Jonathan's parents snapped a few photos and shot them to us. One was so cute but so blurry you could not make it out very well due to the action shot! Kanah has recovered completely from his palate repair.

Merry Christmas 2011

It was an interesting week for our household this Christmas. Kanah had his palate repair surgery on 12-22-11, and is doing great! He did so well with eating and drinking afterwards they let him go home the next morning! The boys enjoyed Christmas morning waking up to a drum set, electric guitars, and Handy Manny work bench, and stockings full of goodies. Later they got a train table to put their trains on and new parts to the existing train set with new trains from all of their grandparents and great -grandmothers. Doodle-pop ended the day with an outdoor pedal car CAT excavator like daddy's real one! Keaton missed half of the steps getting off of the porch to get to it! Thank goodness we were holding on to him! Kanah loved his drum set, and has quite a rhythm. He might have a musical talent. Keaton loved them too along with playing the guitar. Pilar brought them lego's. The many parts and toys all over the den looked like Toys R US exploded in our house! Fun was had by all!

Christmas gathering 2011

We celebrated our family Christmas a week early since Kanah is having his palate surgery Thurs. 12-22-11. Kanah got to meet his uncle Summer's whom he was named after for the first time. He just home from Colorado. Keaton and Kanah both had a great time with their family and playing with their cousins. Taking the family photo is an action shot and very quick process with the 2 two year olds added to the family this year. The will not sit still long for that event!

Visiting Santa at the Stroll!

Keaton and Kanah enjoyed the Downtown Stroll and even met Santa Claus. If any of our followers remember Keaton was scared of him last year and would not even get close. He was a little better this year and stood on his sleigh. Kanah let me hold him next to Santa, but no way would he sit with him. They did spot the candy canes and were very excited to get one! Keaton told Santa he wants a drum set and guitar! Wow Santa already knew that! LOL We may be crazy, but Santa is bring those very things to put under the tree! Loud household at 430a Christmas Day! Keaton gets up at 430 to 500a daily (even weekends!) Kanah saw his buddy Jonathan at the stroll and sat with him to watch the hand bell choir from our church perform.
