Happy Easter

Happy Easter! We enjoyed our early "Sonrise service", breakfast at church , and then the boys found their Easter baskets when we returned home. Later in the day we took a picnic to the cabin while daddy and Pop were working on the porch. We may finally get the cabin completed by Summer and move Pop in soon! The boys love watching daddy use all of his tools.

Charleston Visit with the boys!

We went to Charleston SC for the boys MUSC appointments. Kanah is doing great! His height is still an issue, but he may require growth hormones in the future to give him a boost, but hopefully continued nutrition he lacked so much the first 2 years of his life will keep him growing. He has gained 7 lbs in 7 months! Yay! They had a brief visit with the grands, and then off to Charleston.
The boys enjoyed walking all over downtown Charleston. We enjoyed visiting some friends, and their girls. See the pic of Keaton sneaking in to Madison's pocketbook to steal her pen! STINKER! They got sunglasses so they could look cool like daddy!

Finally a post!

I finally got around to posting! This has probably been the longest length between posts since starting the blog! We have been very busy and not too many pictures have been taken to post this past month. They have been taken with my phone so I had to wait until the computer guru could load them for me to post. A few will tell a story. Keaton and Kanah got their Handy Manny hammers out and went to town on several things including the T.V.! They learned to sit and read a story and go without for about a week. They are limited on how long they get to watch it, but were very limited that week! Aunt Becca and Uncle Darby came for a visit and experienced bath time. Check out Kanah since he is getting to be a "Chunky Monkey"! He has gained approx. 7lbs in the 7 months he has been with us. He is a little pig! They both love their doggies, and Java is growing. I need to take a few more pics of her to post. Hopefully I can get some more pics soon and post more often!

Happy Chinese New Year!

We enjoyed our first Families with Children from China event. We took the boys to celebrate the Chinese New Year. They enjoyed all of the activities, the Dragon dancing (the lion dance), and all of the homemade authentic Chinese foods prepared by all of the families! The boys also enjoyed a pop up book our pastor's family dropped off for them!

Acting up in Church!

Keaton and Kanah love to play with their friend Jonathan at church. He helps with the children in the toddler room. After the church service today we were standing and talking to friends and the boys and Jonathan all got silly playing at the alter. Jonathan's parents snapped a few photos and shot them to us. One was so cute but so blurry you could not make it out very well due to the action shot! Kanah has recovered completely from his palate repair.

Riding the Skid Steer

Keaton and Kanah thought they were big stuff riding in the skid steer while daddy parked it after working Saturday. Kanah has recovered very well from his palate repair. Hope everyone is having a great start to 2012!
