A lady drew Keaton's name for us. We wanted to find someone to do this and they did them in the gift shop in Summer Palace. Another family with us got them for their children also. Love all of the colors!

First Beijing tour day!

We got up at 445a and got ready for breakfast at 615a. Morning walk around the hotel area until 815a to meet for the tour. We went to Tiananmen Square and it was total chaos with all of the people. In the Forbidden City I stood in a line of about 100 pushy women to use the squatty potty!! You would have thought they were giving away gold in that bathroom!!! NOT!! It got comical and the security guard had to break up a few cat fights. LOL! It was worth standing in all of the chaos so I could get a laugh! The last time we were there in Feb. 2004 it was not this crowded. It was neat to see in the Summer. The Summer Palace was beautiful!! We then took in the Flying Acrobat Show! Long day and another one planned for tomorrow! We will add more pictures in a different post from the computer, but here are a few.

Hanging around Beijing

We had a free day on the 9th and we just walked around town off and on all day. We enjoyed having a drink at an outside restaurant, and later before turning in to bed we went for a ceremonial TEA at a shop close to the hotel. Oolong tea with a hint of honey was our choice of tea! Very good!!
Hope the pictures come into the blog. More tomorrow after our tour!

Subject: We made it to China!

I guess you can call it a 3 1/2 year pregnancy with a 24 hour labor "Called a long agonizing flight"!! Our backs,butts,hips and legs ached the entire trip!!
I was so confused with the time on this trip due to changing flights a few times with lay overs that, when they brought dinner tonight I forgot it was our breakfast in US time again and ordered a glass of wine! Anyway I am off work and it helped numb up and relax all of the achy body parts!! It was the next best thing to the epidural in real labor! LOL!!!
Now a few more days to Keaton!!! (Remember we can not see the blog so if it comes through funny sorry)

Off to China on OUR JOURNEY TO KEATON!!!

We leave early in the morning for Beijing China!! We have all of our luggage, paperwork, passports& etc ready to go!!!!!
